Made my first online purchase today… A DOMAIN NAME.

That’s right, I have a domain AND I named it.

Spending the $28 per year on this was a real mind struggle for me.  When I think of “entertainment” money in our budget, my mind immediately goes to Chipotle, orders a burrito, runs to the cupcake shop near our house, buys a red velvet, then comes home to watch Masterchef on hulu (yeah, I sense the irony too).

Twenty eight bucks a year stops this blessed event from occurring THREE times!

What does this mean, exactly? Well, as far as me not eating cupcakes, I may finally give up spandex waistbands (see next post)  Also, my blog is now the name I originally wanted and much easier to look up: poopsandgiggles.net rather than poopandgiggles.wordpress.com.  So those are both pretty good things.

As for the look of the blog, yeah, it’s not fancy. I’m not fancy.  Take me to Baskin Robbins with 31 flavors of ice cream and an array of toppings to choose from and I’ll say, “Mmmm….Vanilla.  But I’m lactose intolerant, so I’ll  have water, instead.” So if any of my tech savvy pals want to offer their expertise, I sure would LOVE it!
