Dear smoke detector,

Someday you may save our lives. But for today, and all the many days you have FREAKED OUT because of a warm shower, you can sit there, batteryless, and think about what you have done. As soon as I calm all the tiny humans down, you may have your battery back. But for now, I really need you to sit there and think about why you keep choosing to repeat this attention seeking behavior.
